As a performance coach at Billy Corbett’s RetroFIT Training Center, REAL Training, and also as an assistant track coach for Niwot High School, Jamie has the privilege to work with young, talented athletes in sports ranging from lacrosse, rugby, track, and football.

Jamie was born in Fort Collins, Colo., but spent his formative years in Denver’s north side as a student athlete at Denver North High School.

At North, Jamie ran in cross country, track and field, and wrestling before enlisting in the United States Air Force where he eventually became a staff sergeant and finished up his tour in 2007. He holds a degree in personal training and kinesiology and an ACE certification.

She grew up in the Boulder/Longmont area and has called Boulder County home all her life. She attended Niwot High School, where she ran for Coach Mo from 2010 to 2013. Originally intending to continue training with Coach Mo in order to walk-on the track and field team at CU-Boulder, she quickly changed her mind. She set her sights on becoming a Ralphie Handler at CU to carry on a tradition she now holds dear to her heart. When she is not training for her own sport, Deyja helps integrate the newer and younger track athletes into the REAL Training family. She also works as an assistant track coach at Niwot High School. Her favorite aspect of coaching is instilling the work ethic and love for the sport that Coach Mo instilled in her when she first began running with him.
